MetaMask 新增对比特币网络支持，继续推进多链化进程
ChainCatcher 消息，根据官方公告，MetaMask 用户现在能够直接用法币购买比特币，进行链上 Bitcoin 网络转账，并使用 EVM 原生资产和 SOL 与 BTC 进行兑换。
此举是 MetaMask 今年一系列功能推出的一部分，包括 Solana 支持、通过 Hyperliquid 实现的永续合约交易，以及近期推出的 Polymarket 支持。最新版本的 MetaMask 初期将支持原生 SegWit 地址，并计划“很快”增加 Taproot 地址。Consensys 正在筹备首次公开募股，而 MetaMask 也预示着即将推出 MASK 代币。
在 10 月份的一次采访中，Consensys 首席执行官 Joseph Lubin 表示，该公司正在积极推进即将到来的 MASK 代币发行，但确切的发布日期仍不清楚。
