ChainCatcher 消息，比特币 Layer2 网络 Botanix 宣布将逐步关闭，用户需在 7 月 9 日前提取比特币及其他资产。团队总结了几点教训：当前市场对比特币可编程性的需求尚未成熟；代币发行策略普遍表现不佳；多数 DeFi 用户更接受以太坊上的 WBTC 方案；链上经济正向 Hyperliquid、Robinhood 等中心化平台集中；用户主要将比特币用于价值存储而非高频交易，网络费用收入难以覆盖基础设施成本。
Botanix 表示，与其继续投入而无法产生新的认知，不如在尚有资源时停止。7 月 9 日后剩余比特币将由 Botanix 网络的验证者集合 Federation 统一回收，其他资产将无法恢复。
