美联储理事沃勒：通胀风险意味着美联储不应再释放降息信号
BlockBeats 消息，5 月 22 日，美联储理事沃勒周五表示，鉴于通胀风险日益增长，美联储根本不应再将进一步降息作为默认计划。而就在今年 1 月，沃勒还曾支持降息。沃勒在发表演讲时表示，随着中东冲突的持续，石油和其他大宗商品成本的上涨越来越有可能在经济中引发更广泛的持续性通胀。
他称，因此，美联储是时候停止释放下一次行动最可能是再次降息的信号了。沃勒表示，在可预见的未来，将利率稳定在目前 3.5% 至 3.75% 的区间很可能是正确的做法。他补充说：「如果通胀不能很快减弱，我不能再排除未来加息的可能性。」(金十)
